The first self-titled album of the post-punk new competitors from Changsha, "Berlin Psycho Nurses", adheres to the cold tone of post-punk, blending the unique fun and experimentation of the band. The eleven songs incorporate genres such as noise rock and indie rock. The lyrics content strives to capture the various complex emotions experienced by young boys in various types of love, as well as the feelings about the world around them, mapping a narrative in those action movies we’re familiar with. At the end of the movie, the heroes who seem to be able to fight against everything still shed tears for love.
